Privacy Policy

• Your profile. Name, email address, phone number, business name, website, industry, city and state, a short bio, and a photo if you upload one. You type all of it, and you can change or clear it in Settings.
• What you do in the app. Referrals given and received, pipeline cards, messages you send to other members, fireteam posts, contacts you add or import, and credits earned and spent.
• Your contacts, if you add them by hand or import a CSV. They are yours: no other member can see them.
• Sign-in information, handled by Supabase, our authentication and database provider.

Connecting a mailbox is optional. Nothing below happens unless you choose to connect one in Settings, and disconnecting stops all of it immediately.

When you connect a Gmail or Google Workspace account, BLN Connect requests these Google API scopes and no others:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly — to read messages in your Inbox and Sent Mail, so that a reply from someone on one of your referral cards appears on that card without you forwarding it to us.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send — to send a follow-up or introduction that you have written and chosen to send, from your own address, so it lands in your real Sent folder like anything else you write.
• openid, email and profile — to confirm which mailbox you connected.

We never request permission to modify or delete your mail. BLN Connect cannot move, label, archive or delete anything in your mailbox, and it cannot send anything you have not written and sent yourself.

What is actually stored. The app reads your Inbox and Sent Mail looking for messages involving a person already on one of your referral cards or in your contacts. Only those messages are written down — the sender, the recipients, the subject, the date and the plain text of the message, attached to that card. Every other message in your mailbox is passed over and discarded in the same moment: not stored, not logged, not copied anywhere, not used for anything. Message bodies are stored as plain text; we never keep raw email HTML.

Where your credentials live.The tokens Google issues are encrypted before they are stored and are kept in a table that no member account can read — not even the member whose tokens they are. They are used only by BLN Connect's own servers, to do the two things listed above.

Disconnecting. Disconnect in Settings, or revoke BLN Connect at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Either one ends our access at once and deletes the stored tokens. Messages already filed on your cards stay, because they are your record of what was said — you can delete those individually, or ask us to remove all of them.

BLN Connect's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• Google user data is used only to provide and improve the features described above, and for no other purpose.
• Google user data is never sold, and never transferred to anyone except as needed to provide those features, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your prior notice.
• Google user data is never used for advertising of any kind.
• No human reads your Google user data, except with your explicit permission for a specific problem you have asked us to look into, where it is necessary for security, or where the law requires it.
• Google user data is never used to train generalized or standalone artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Where an assistant helps you draft a message, it is given only the specific conversation you are writing in, at the moment you ask for help, and the provider is contractually barred from training on it.

Other members see your profile, your industry and location, and the referrals and wins you post. They do not see your mailbox, your contacts, your credits, or any message you have not sent to them.

BLN administrators can see membership and billing status, credit balances, and content posted to the community. They cannot read your connected mailbox.

We use a small number of providers to run the service, and they see only what they need to do their job: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (the assistant that helps draft messages), Go High Level (membership billing), and Microsoft or Google if you connect a mailbox from either.

We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising.

Your account and its contents stay until you ask us to remove them. Mailbox credentials are deleted the moment you disconnect. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your profile, contacts, messages and filed mail.

You can edit or clear your profile in Settings, delete contacts individually, delete messages and conversations, disconnect your mailbox at any time, and ask us to delete your account entirely. Write to jr@blnteam.com and we will act on it.

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Mailbox tokens are encrypted at rest and unreachable from any browser. Access to member data is restricted at the database level so that one member's account cannot read another's. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

BLN Connect is for business owners and is not intended for anyone under 18.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, we will say so in the app rather than quietly changing the date at the top.
